Facundo Buonanotte has returned from his loan at Chelsea and will now join Leeds United on loan until the end of the season.
The Argentine international found game time limited at Stamford Bridge, making seven appearances including three in the Champions League.
Sporting director Jason Ayto said, “Facundo wants to play and he demonstrated in his loan to Leicester City last season the impact he is able to have in the Premier League when he does.
“This is a great move for all parties and we looking forward to seeing how he continues his development with Leeds United.
“We wish him well for the remainder of the season and look forward to welcoming him back in the summer.”
Facundo arrived at Albion in January 2023, joining from Rosario Central where he had progressed through the academy from the age of ten.
He made his Premier League debut shortly after signing, coming off the bench in a 1-0 win over Bournemouth in February 2023, and scored on his first league start against Nottingham Forest.
Facundo earned his first international cap with Argentina in June 2023, becoming the nation’s 11th-youngest debutant.
He continued his development with a productive loan spell at Leicester City last season, making 35 appearances, scoring six goals and contributing three assists.
