Our women's under-19s came from behind to beat Durham 3-1 in the PGA League on Wednesday afternoon.
The visitors took the lead after five minutes, but Albion were level four minutes after the restart thanks to Patience Fergus's close range finish.
Isobel Kandak put Albion ahead in the 65th minute with a terrific long range strike, before Nelly Guest headed in from Taylor Warren’s corner at the very end to secure the win.
Assistant head coach Tim Tapscott said, “I am really impressed with the performance. Durham came out strongly and made it difficult, but we stuck to our game plan and philosophy.
“Our loss against Gwalia United last weekend was a huge learning curve, in that game the team were good in the first half but panicked when we went a goal down. It happened today but we stuck to the plan and it paid off."

Under-16s Isobel Kandak and Isabella Ranger featured in the win.
“It’s brilliant that we have got a good group of under-16s, a few have stepped up and performed exceptionally. It was great that both girls played 90 minutes today, they really showcased themselves.
“For Izzy [Kandak] to get a goal as right-back, an important one, was great and the girls were happy for her.
“It was a great reaction from the previous game and today after going a goal down. The team showed their determination and grit; it is a busy period.

"We face Bexhill United on the weekend in the Sussex Women's Challenge Cup third round. It’s a good opportunity for us to rotate players and feature those who have not played as many minutes."
