Albion are proud to stand alongside all 20 Premier League clubs in launching the second season of Together Against Suicide, a major initiative launched in partnership with Samaritans.

The campaign, created with broadcaster and mental health advocate Roman Kemp, aims to raise awareness of suicide and provide vital support for those affected.

Every 90 minutes – the length of a football match – someone in the UK takes their own life. With suicide as leading cause of death for men under 50, the initiative harnesses the power of the game to reach those who may be most at risk.

A season-long commitment

Together Against Suicide was launched on World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September) and will run throughout the 2025/26 season. Albion are among 11 clubs piloting enhanced matchday support, alongside Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton.

We aim to deliver the following:

- Reduce the stigma by starting conversations about suicide

- Increase understanding of suicide and the support available

- Support individuals to access the help they need

What to expect

We’re here to listen. When you visit us, you’ll be welcomed by a friendly Samaritan, who will take the time to talk to and listen to you about what’s on your mind. The chat can be as long or as short as you like – whatever you need, and whatever makes you comfortable. Find out more here.

Learn to listen like a Samaritan with Brighton & Hove Albion

We’re also delivering an extensive training programme for fans, where we will be introducing Samaritan listening skills. This is a truly ambitious project that we’re excited and proud to take on. We’ll be training a total number of 1901 Brighton and Hove Albion fans in listening skills, with a mix of face to face workshops and online webinars, to teach them how to learn to listen.
