Albion return to WSL action looking for a third successive home win when they entertain Crystal Palace at the Broadfield Stadium on Sunday, kick off 2pm.
Team news
Summer signing Nadia Krezyman is making excellent strides in her rehabilitation. "Friday was her fourth session on the pitch, so I'm very happy," head coach Arturo Ruiz said.Â
"She's doing great. She's going to be back very soon. I cannot tell the exact date yet, but in the near future I will be able to."
Forward Aisha Masaka is also progressing well from a long-term knee injury. Madison Haley, Charlie Rule and Moeka Minami will require a little more time, but the improving health of the squad is another boost for the coach.
Arturo Ruizâs thoughts ...
"For me, it's very important at the minute to rotate and give opportunities to everybody that deserves that opportunity.Â
"I'm not giving opportunities to anyone that is not working 100% during the week. As long as everyone does it, I will give opportunities to everyone because we have a lot of games.
"In every game, there are game plan requirements, and positions or football behaviours that you want to show."
Previous meetings
When Palace were last in the WSL in 2024-25 Albion picked up four points from the two games. Bruna Vilamala scored the winner as Albion triumphed 1-0 at Gander Green Lane and they were two minutes away from completing the double when Palace made it 1-1 at the Broadfield Stadium in February 2025, after Albion had led through an own goal.
