We’re delighted to announce the signing of Rosa Kafaji on a season-long-loan from Arsenal, subject to the usual regulatory processes.
Head coach Dario Vidosic said, “We are excited to welcome Rosa to the squad for the season ahead. She’s a versatile attacker who shows plenty of promise in the front line.
“She’s a fantastic addition to the team for our new campaign and we’re excited to see her integrate within our squad and style of play."
Rosa joined Arsenal in August last year after a successful two seasons at one of Sweden’s top-flight clubs, BK Hacken.
She made 19 appearances in her debut season for the Gunners scoring her first goal in October 2024 against West Ham United.
Rosa spent two seasons at BK Hacken, and scored 28 goals in 61 appearances, featuring heavily in their run to the Champions League quarter-finals in the 2023/24 season.
She began her career at AIK’s youth ranks in 2015 and made her senior debut for the squad in 2019 at the age of 15. Before leaving the club in 2021 to join Hacken, she made 19 goals in 46 appearances.
At International level, the Swedish attacker worked her way up the age groups and made her senior debut for the national team in October 2023.
