Albion secured another victory in the PGA League Division One on Sunday with a 1–0 win over Manchester United at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre.
A single goal from Patience Fergus proved decisive, earning Danielle Bowman's squad another valuable three points and lifting them to fourth in the league table.
Reflecting on the match, assistant head coach Tim Tapscott said, "It was another excellent competitive fixture for our U19s to be involved in. What was particularly satisfying was our dominance in the game and the way we controlled the second half in particular.
"We knew that Manchester United would pose a real threat with the way they create chances, so it was extremely pleasing to see our group nullify one of their key strengths."
"It felt like Manchester United applied more pressure in the first half, and made it difficult for us to play out from the back. However, once our girls found solutions to these challenges United dropped off, which allowed us more time and control of the ball.
"A big credit goes to the team for their composure and adaptability. We created a lot of chances in the second half and, realistically, could have scored two or even three more goals. That’s something for us to reflect on and improve - our ruthlessness and decision-making in front of goal."

Patience Fergus made another strong impact in the match after netting her 15th goal of the season. Tapscott highlighted how key she's been this campaign for the under-19s.
He added, "Patience has a real hunger to score and that shows as she's now the top scorer in the PGA League.
"We will continue to develop her all-round finishing skillset and hopefully she can add even more goals to her tally."
Only four points sit between Albion and the top of the table, and with eight games remaining, and the under-19s are aiming to finish as high as possible.
"The team is highly focused and driven to do well in the league this season, to push boundaries, and to demonstrate a strong winning mentality. Maintaining the consistency of this will be the key challenge for this group," added Tapscott.
"There is certainly enough talent within the squad to push for the top position. They should believe they can achieve this.
"They’ve shown great togetherness on numerous occasions this season, and we are confident that this will continue."
