Head coach Dario Vidosic praised his squad after their dominant 4-1 victory over Leicester City.
Goals from Madison Haley, Maelys Mpome, Marisa Olislagers and Kiko Seike secured the three points, though the Australian admitted his team needed time to settle into the game.
Vidosic said, "It took us a little bit of time to settle into the game. We were probably our own worst enemies, but we knew we had to be switched on for the 90 minutes. Once we settled down and started to play our football, I thought we were quite the dominant team and deserved to win. The passes weren't sticking at the start, but once we found our feet we then started to get full control.
“We made a sloppy mistake to give them an opportunity to score, but I did like the reaction from that and we got back in control and scored two more wonderful goals to celebrate three points.
"We came in a little bit differently today, but we still wanted to play the same football that we have been. It was just the settling of nerves coming into the Amex and trying to get back into winning ways. This is the football we want to play and the more people we can get in good areas - we were clinical today."
Madison Haley returned to the side after two months out and made an immediate impact, breaking the deadlock just before half-time.
"She's (Madison Haley) terrific and she'll only get better," Vidosic added. "She's been out for a little while and we're hoping to build her up. We lost Carla (Camacho) to concussion symptoms, that made us even more thinner. I checked in with Madi at half-time, she said she felt fine, but we still need to look after her because we can't afford to lose her again."
Attention now turns to international duty, with several players heading off to represent their countries. Vidosic believes this break will be valuable preparation for Albion’s final two league matches of 2025.
He continued, "It's a good moment now, we can just work on ourselves, work on individuals. It's a little bit different with no game coming up. We'll use the time well and slowly start to prepare for London City and Chelsea."
