UNICEF, the world’s leading child rights organisation, is hosting a takeover at Sunday’s Women’s Super League match at the Amex. Our partnership aims to use the power of football for good and strengthen UNICEF’s efforts to build a world where every child is happy, healthy, and safe.
UNICEF ensures that children around the world can access quality education and health care, adequate nutrition and are safe and protected from harm. The match take over starts a week of club activity with UNICEF UK centred around championing children’s rights and World Children’s Day.
As well as hosting a special half-time Q&A highlighting the work the partnership supports, fans will also be able to donate via QR codes around the stadium and choose from a unique selection of BHAFC and UNICEF face painting designs.
The Terrace will also be hosting a live Q&A with UNICEF’s Head of Corporate Partnerships Heather McCrea ahead of kick-off at 11.15am.
There are other exciting activities are happening around the stadium ahead of kick-off to get the fans in the matchday mood.
Our official supporters club Gulls Aloud samba band will be kicking off the day playing some fan favourites in the Terrace at 11am with face painters and a photobooth in the West Stand concourse.
