Dario Vidosic gave the following update on Fran Kirby and Tahirah Heron ahead of this weekend's fixture.
"Everyone’s ok. Fran Kirby was back on Friday, which was good, a positive," the Australian head coach said. "She got through the session, so we'll just see again how she responds from that.
"We'll assess everyone again on Saturday, the last session leading into the weekend.
“Unfortunately Tahirah [Heron] suffered an injury [against Charlton on Wednesday], so I'm just waiting for the report back on that. I imagine she'll be out this weekend due to injury. It's her hamstring. She slipped on the surface and she overextended during that action. We will wait for the report and see exactly the extent of it is."
Their last line-up
The Foxes sit two points behind Albion in the WQSL table, in ninth with six points. They played West Ham last weekend, coming away with a point after drawing 1-1 at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Match stats
After winning just one of their first five WSL meetings with Leicester City (D1 L3), Albion have since won two of their last three top-flight matches against the Foxes (L1) – including this exact fixture last season (1-0 win in November 2024).
Leicester City have won only one of their four away games against Brighton in the Women’s Super League (D1 L2), a 1-0 victory via an Ava Baker goal – who is still the Foxes’ youngest ever goalscorer on the road in the competition (17y 138d).

Albion have won just two of their eight Women’s Super League games this season (D2 L4), with the Seagulls only claiming fewer wins at this stage in their very first two top-flight campaigns (1 in both 2018-19 and 2019-20).
Leicester are without a win in their last 20 matches away from home in the WSL (D7 L13) and could set the longest winless run on the road in the history of the competition. The Foxes are currently level with Yeovil Town between April 2017 – February 2019 (20).
Albion have lost just one of their last five Women’s Super League home games (W3 D1), though that defeat did come in their most recent via a 3-2 loss to Manchester United – the first time the Seagulls conceded 3+ goals in a home league game since March 2024 (4-1 defeat vs Manchester City).
Leicester have earned six points from their opening eight Women’s Super League matches this season (W1 D3 L4), while the Foxes have only boasted more points at this stage in one previous top-flight campaign (8 in 2023-24). Furthermore, victory in this match would see them level their points tally after nine games of that season (9).
Albion have trailed in each of their last four games in the Women’s Super League (D1 L3), with the Seagulls last trailing across five consecutive matches in the top-flight between October 2022 – March 2023 (a run of 11 – W1 D2 L8).
Leicester have recorded the fewest build up attacks (1), the fewest open play sequences of 10+ passes (13) and average the fewest passes per open play sequence in the WSL across 2025-26 (2.25), although the Foxes do boast the quickest direct speed in the competition this term (1.98 metres/second).
Fran Kirby has been directly involved in six goals across her six appearances against Leicester in the Women’s Super League (4 goals, 2 assists), with Kirby netting a penalty in a 3-2 defeat the last time these two sides met in the league.
Shannon O’Brien’s equalising goal for Leicester against West Ham on MD8 was the latest goal scored in the WSL this season (96:13), and the Foxes’ latest goal in the competition since Hannah Cain also netted late vs the Hammers in May 2023 (98:47).
