Goalkeeper departs after four years with Albion.

Katie Startup has joined Manchester City on a permanent basis, having spent time on loan there last season.

The club can confirm that Katie Startup has left Albion to join Manchester City for an undisclosed fee.

Startup was one of the longest serving players in the current Albion squad having joined from Championship side Charlton Athletic in July 2020. She has made five appearances for the club.

Head coach Dario Vidosic said, “Katie has been a fundamental player for the club from when she first joined. She has contributed massively on and off the training pitch to help the team reach their best potential.

"I’m sad we never got to work longer together but we wish her all the best for the future.”
