We’re delighted to confirm the signing of striker Carla Camacho, subject to the completion of the usual regulatory processes.
Head coach Dario Vidosic said, “We’re pleased to have Carla with us. She has a good pedigree at Real Madrid and is looking forward to experiencing a new challenge in the WSL.
“She will need time to settle in but we’re looking forward to watching her progress and develop with us.”
Carla, 20, began her career in the Orcasitas youth system before joining Atlético de Madrid in 2012. She joined Real Madrid's youth team in 2020, spending three seasons in the academy and B team.
She was promoted to the first team in 2023 and made 11 appearances, scoring two goals across La Liga and the Champions League.
She has also represented Spain at youth level, winning the Golden Boot at the 2022 UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship. Later that year, she was part of the squad that won the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, and she also went on to win the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship.
