Michelle Agyemang has won BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year 2025 after her breakthrough season for Albion and the Lionesses.
The striker’s recent accolades include Tuttosport's Golden Girl award and UEFA Women's Euro Young Player of the Tournament for 2025. Unfortunately, the 19-year-old's season was cut short after picking up an ACL injury in October during international duty.
Michelle was voted the winner of the BBC's prestigious award by an expert judging panel, against darts player Luke Littler and cricketer Davina Perrin.
Speaking at the awards evening, she said, "Wow. Thank you so much. I am so grateful. To all my team-mates, coaches, I am so grateful.
"To my family, who have supported me all this year and throughout my career - even if it hasn't been that long - I love you.
"A big thank you to God for this opportunity. I am so thankful."
