A solitary Kiko Seike strike secured all three points for the Seagulls at in-form London City Lionesses.
Dario Vidosic's side have now recorded back-to-back WSL wins thanks, in part, to an impressive rearguard action which kept the Lionesses – who had won two successive league games themselves – at bay.
The deadlock was broken after just six minutes when Albion turned the ball over in midfield. Madison Haley quickly fed Seike who raced through on goal before coolly tucking home for her sixth goal of the season.
The hosts responded soon after when former Seagull Nikita Parris pounced on a loose ball, only to see her 20-yard shot superbly tipped over the bar by Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Albion missed a good opportunity to double their lead in the 19th minute when Haley was brought down inside the box by Wassa Sangare. She dusted herself down to take the resulting penalty, but keeper Elene Lete made a superb save low to her right.
Nnadozie was similarly inspired at the other end, making a fine save at the feet of Grace Geyoro following an assist from Parris.
The Lionesses continued to search for an equaliser but the Albion defence – along with the impressive Nnadozie – stood firm to take a half-time lead.
Albion created the first opening of the second half when Caitlin Hayes connected with a Moeka Minami centre only to see her looping header drop onto the roof of the net.
The Seagulls continued to put pressure on the Lionesses goal but there was a scare at the other end when Freya Godfrey sent a curling effort narrowly wide.

Isobel Goodwin then had an effort beaten out as London City laid siege on the Albion goal in the closing stages, but the visitors saw the game out in front of a record home league crowd of 3,302.
