Dario Vidosic’s love of Chiamaka Nnadozie’s goalkeeping style was a big reason why the Nigerian signed for Albion in the summer.
The former Paris FC keeper was talking ahead of Sunday’s WSL game at the Amex, when our women’s team take on Leicester City, kick-off 12 noon.
The 24-year-old’s aggressive positioning often sees her operating outside her 18-yard box, something that her Australian head coach encourages.
“That has always been my style of play. Some of the teams that I played against with Paris had fast wingers and sometimes it's difficult for the defenders to stop them, so they know that I'm very aggressive when I play and that I will be ready," she said.

“The first time I met Dario, some of the clips he showed me were in positions like that. I was surprised. He said ‘I love these things’ and wanted me to do them here. Knowing that something you love doing is liked by the coach gave me confidence.
“You have to be careful though, because the strikers are very smart in this league. I missed one when I came off my line against Arsenal, but the coaching staff said not to worry and to continue doing what I was doing.
“It's something I'm used to doing and it's also something they want me to do, but not all the time. It's good that they're okay with it.”
The Women’s AFCON winner has said she has the pace to back up her approach though.

“I think in this squad Carla [Camacho] is faster than me, but at Paris I was the second fastest player – honestly, I am very fast!”
Sunday will mark her first opportunity to showcase her style at the Amex.
“I am so excited,” she continued. “It’s a dream come true. It will be a magical moment, I can't wait to play there on Sunday.
“Some of the players have told me a little bit about the Amex, but I don't want to hear too much I just want to experience it myself.”
