Dario Vidosic believes Nikita Parrisâs form this season would have been âhard to overlookâ by England head coach Sarina Wiegman.
The Albion striker scored her ninth goal of the season last Saturday and her consistently good performances since joining the club in the summer have earned her a recall to the England squad for the first time since November 2022 for Nations League matches later this month against Portugal and Spain.
Head coach Vidosic said, âAs a player you try to give the selectors as big of a headache as possible, and I think she's done that throughout the course of the season and just lately, with the goals and how she's been playing, it got to a point where it was too hard to overlook.
âIt'll always come down to performances and what you do on the weekend. And she's a very big professional.
âShe looks after herself very well. And then she's able to perform on the weekend because sheâs done everything right leading in.
âItâs nice to think that coming to Brighton has helped her but I don't think it matters too much what badge is on the jersey because it always comes down to performances on the pitch and the players that perform will be chosen.â
