Albion drew 1-1 with Norwich City in Premier League 2 on Friday.
The Canaries took the lead through Dylan Jones eight minutes before half-time, but Albion responded in some style in the 57th minute.
Joe Knight found Harry Howell out wide who beat his man and crossed for Sahil Bashir to tap in at the back post.
Under-21s head coach Shannon Ruth, “It was a positive night for us. I'm really pleased the team got to go home with a point. It was the least we deserved. We played really well and were really unlucky to be 1-0 down.
“We had, I felt, a lot of control in the game, and again, as we have done in the previous game, we were knocking on the door, but it wasn't quite happening.
"The team stayed really consistent though. They kept pushing and then got their well-deserved goal. It was a really good team goal and there was only one team going on to try and win the game and that was us. So we showed really good progress which is what I wanted.
“It gives us something to build on and hopefully we can continue to put these good performances together."
The under-21s return to action on Tuesday at Culver Road against Whitehawk in the Sussex Transport Senior Cup.
