Shannon Ruth saluted his squadâs resilience as he was forced to swallow the disappointment of seeing a late equaliser deny his team a deserved victory.
The fourth of five consecutive away matches looked to have ended on a high note when Adam Brettâs 74th-minute goal put Albion in front.
But Leeds bundled home a corner five minutes from time as the visitors posted their third draw in their last four outings.
Earlier, Younis Ibrahim had fired Ruthâs side in front before the interval. The hosts equalised before the late drama saw both teams settle for a point.
âWeâll take a point on the road,â was the head coachâs reaction but he was also pleased with the doggedness shown by a squad that had more of a youthful look to it.
The players celebrate Younis Ibrahim's first-half goal on his PL2 debut. đ·Paul Thompson.
He said: âWe probably didnât show enough maturity to see the game out.
âBut we finished with four scholars on the pitch - which was good for us.
âAdam Brett came on - heâs a first-year scholar - and he looked a real threat.
âYounis is a second scholar and that was his first start in the PL2, and he scored a good goal.
âJesse Middleton is a second-year scholar - he came on for Joe Knight - so, overall, thereâs a lot of good to take from it.
âAnd this was our fourth away game in two weeks. Itâs a really tricky period.
âWeâve got another one away this week - the players are at their maximum.
So I have to give them credit for that. They are continuing to play with intensity and energy.â
