Putting Elsie's pictures in the spotlight

Brighton & Hove Albion and MPB are proud to spotlight the first winner of our Focus on Her campaign, Elsie Kibue-Ngare.
The initiative started in November and spotlights female photographers and their work.
Elsie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Master of Arts in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism from the University of WestMinster.
Our MPB Focus on Her competition winner received exclusive pitchside access for our WSL clash against London City Lionesses. 📸 Elsie Kibue-Ngare.
She has previous experience mainly in the sports industry and her photography has appeared in several publications.
She had exclusive pitch-side access during our recent WSL game against London City Lionesses at the Broadfield Stadium, capturing behind-the-scene moments and the match action.

Elsie said, “This was my first time photographing women's football, and I was excited to capture the energy of the sport in general.”
Elsie's work will also be showcased in the match programme for our game against Arsenal on 15 February.
