We are pleased to confirm the signing of George Munday from Cambridge United on a two-year contract, for undisclosed terms.
The 19-year-old will join our men’s under-21s squad, who head into the new campaign as Premier League 2 champions.
Men’s under-21s head coach Shannon Ruth said, “George had an excellent second half of the season with Hereford, having previously made his professional debut for Cambridge United.
“We’re looking forward to bringing him into our environment and seeing his game continue to develop.”
The striker joined the U’s aged nine, progressing through their academy before making his first team debut in 2024.
After loans with St Ives Town and Bedford Town, he found his goalscoring touch with National League North Hereford last season, netting nine goals in 22 appearances.
