Two early goals was enough to see our men's under-18s lose 2-1 at Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
A brace from Lorenz Hutchinson - a smart finish into the bottom corner before he capitalised on a defensive error - put the Foxes into a two-goal lead after just 17 minutes.
Younes Ibrahim pulled one back from the penalty spot with ten minutes to go as he found the bottom right corner from 12-yards, but it would to be in vain.
Men's under-18 head coach Bjorn Hamberg said, "We played a Leicester team that was well organised defensively and offered a threat on the counter attack. We conceded two goals without doing too much wrong, but at the same time we would like to be even more proactive with the ball.
"In the second half we kept pushing and all the subs made a positive impact on the game. We scored one goal and should probably have scored another one, but Leicester defended their box with bodies and blocked the opportunities that we created."
Albion return to action on Saturday when they play Crystal Palace at home, kick off 11am.
