Our menâs and womenâs teamsâ matches this weekend will mark the passing of former womenâs and girlsâ head of coaching, Rado Vidosic.
Rado passed away at the beginning of the week, aged 61, having previously worked for Brisbane Roar, Sydney FC, Melbourne Victory and Wellington Phoenix.
Our teams will wear black armbands and a minuteâs applause will be held at both matches.
Womenâs interim head coach Chris Roberts said, âIt has been a really challenging, sad week for everyone at the football club and around the world who have paid their tributes to Rado.
âRado was one of the most incredible men that I have ever met. He lifted people, made them smile and had the most amazing football brain.
âHis legacy across the football world will last for a long time. We send our love and thoughts to the Vidosic family and everyone who knew Rado.
âI want to pay a tribute to one of the best people I have ever been lucky enough to meet and work with here. He was a mentor, friend and one of the funniest people.
âRado is going to be sorely missed, his legacy across the football world will last for a long time.â
Menâs first team head coach Fabian Hurzeler said, âI feel very sorry for Dario and for his family. I was in touch with him and said that I really appreciate that the things his father gave to the club.
âHis passion, his love, he was always there â he was always fully committed. So it was a pleasure to work with him. We all feel for Dario and we will give him all the time he needs.â
