Matt O’Riley enjoyed a third consecutive Ligue 1 win with Marseille as they beat Strasbourg 2-1 on Friday.
The Denmark international has started the last two games – including their 1-0 victory against reigning champions PSG last Monday – as L’OM moved to within three points of joint league leaders PSG and Lyon.
Hammarby moved two points clear at the top of the Allsvenskan Women’s league thanks to a 7-0 victory over Vaxjo, which marked Melina Loeck’s fifth clean sheet of the campaign.

Andrew Moran made his first start for LAFC as they cruised to a 3-0 win at St. Louis City, while Jeremy Sarmiento was subbed on late on in Cremonese’s 1-1 draw with Como in Serie A. It was disappointment for Barnsley, though, as they suffered back-to-back league defeats, losing 2-0 to Port Vale over the weekend – Caylan Vickers started for the Tykes.
Amario Cozier-Duberry suffered his first league defeat in nearly two months as Bolton Wanderers lost 2-0 to Northampton Town, while Kamari Doyle started in Reading’s 1-1 draw with Stockport County. Mark O’Mahony was brought on for the final five minutes for the Royals.
Charlie Penman came on for the final minutes of Aldershot Town’s 4-2 defeat to Halifax Town, while Olivia Johnson played the final ten minutes of Bristol City Women’s 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest Women in WSL2.
Jess Pegram played the full 90 minutes of Rangers Women’s 1-0 home defeat to Glasgow City, while Ibrahim Osman came on for the final 16 minutes of Auxerre’s 2-0 defeat to PSG.
Finally, Evan Ferguson was substituted on for the final 30 minutes of Roma's 2-0 win over Hellas Verona.
