Rodrigo Rego to spend season on loan with Castellon
Winger joins Spanish second division side for the 2026/27 campaign.

Rodrigo Rego has joined La Liga 2 side Castellon on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old signed for Albion earlier on in this transfer window from Benfica on a five-year deal.
Sporting director Mike Cave said, “We have high hopes for Rodrigo and we’re looking forward to seeing him get the opportunity to play regularly at first team level.
“We will monitor his progress closely throughout the season.”
The winger spent time in the academies of Porto and Famalicao, before joining Benfica in 2023.
He made his debut as a late substitute in Benfica’s 2-0 win over Ajax in the Champions League in November, before making his first league start four days later in a 2-1 win over Nacional.
