Amario Cozier-Duberry has agreed a new contract and will spend the season on loan with Middlesbrough.
In a busy deadline day for Amario, he signed his new contract, until June 2029, before heading north to finalise his loan move to Boro.
Sporting director Mike Cave said, “Amario had an excellent year with Bolton Wanderers last season and was one of the standout players in the league helping them to promotion.
“He’s had a very good pre-season with the first-team, that alongside his form last season meant there was significant interest in signing him on loan this season.
“That interest and his new contract is a reflection of his attitude, ability and hard work; now we look forward to watching him continue his progress in the Championship this season.”
The 21-year-old joined us from Arsenal in July 2024, spending the season on loan with Blackburn Rovers, before joining Bolton last summer on loan.
Named in the League One Team of the Year, Amario won the first promotion of his career as he helped Bolton beat Stockport County in the playoff final at Wembley.
