Brighton & Hove Albion are pleased to confirm that seasonâticket renewals for the 2026/27 campaign have closed with a renewal rate of 90%, ahead of the clubâs historic 125-year anniversary season.
Deputy chairman and chief executive Paul Barber said, âWe would like to thank all our season ticket holders for their ongoing backing. Your support continues to make a genuine difference at the Amex.
âWe recognise that many households continue to face financial pressures, and that always remains in our minds when weâre setting prices. We are grateful to those season ticket holders who have once again renewed.
âWhat is really encouraging is that we buck a more common trend nationally, and the renewal rate of 90% is testament to an incredible and continued show of loyalty.â
Main feedback for not renewing was similar to previous seasons and focused largely around personal reasons, such as relocation, job changes or changing financial circumstances. Feedback also attributes a slight additional dip in renewals largely to cost of living.
Paul explained, âThe feedback from season ticket holders has also been extremely useful. We acknowledge that travel and transport remain key talking points for many supporters., itâs also important to frame that in the context that the club is not the provider of transport services.
âAlthough the club isnât the provider of transport services and has no control, our operations team are continuously working with our travel providers to encourage and support improvements to match day services wherever itâs possible to do so.
âThe opening of the Terrace has been a huge hit with many fans, and has helped in spreading the travel load both pre and post match.
âWe also wish to encourage more fans to stay until the final whistle, and we will work with the Fan Advisory Board on different plans to support this.
âWe saw the lift a full stadium can give the players in that crucial phase of the game recently against Nottingham Forest, to help the team across the line, and when we played Arsenal, as we pushed to get something late in the match.
âThat support isnât ever taken for granted by Fabian and the players and it can genuinely be the difference between a draw and a win.â
What will also help ensure the Amex is full for each match is the new season ticket transfer policy. Fan feedback has helped us to make it easier and more cost effective to transfer season tickets when unable to attend, while still ensuring we comply with Premier League regulations, from the start of next season.
With the season ticket renewal process complete, our supporter services team will move into the acquisition phase where potential new and returning season ticket holders will soon be able to see the options available to them as we move into our 125th anniversary season.
For supporters who wish to become season ticket holders from next August, we recommend becoming a MyAlbion+ member now for priority access; members' on sale windows will be communicated by email from the middle of next week. Paul added, âThere will be a very good choice of seats for MyAlbion+ members on our season ticket waiting list and new applicants as we look forward to an historic season in which we celebrate our 125-year anniversary.
âIn addition to general admission offerings, interest in the new 1901 Pub has been very strong. Indeed some of those not renewing season tickets have upgraded to the new area.
âItâs fitting that our brand new 1901 Pub opens for the anniversary season, as it will combine the warmth of a traditional pub with a unique and new type of lounge offering.â
