Carl Rushworth made an incredible nine saves to earn his second clean sheet of the season in Coventry’s goalless draw with Leicester City in the Championship.

Evan Ferguson made it three wins from four as he started in Roma’s 1-0 ‘Derby della Capitale’ win over Lazio. All three of Roma’s league wins this campaign have been 1-0.

Kamari Doyle teed up Reading’s opener in their 2-1 win over Wimbledon in League One, while Mark O’Mahony was brought on four minutes before the Royals scored what proved to be their winner after 70 minutes.

Andrew Moran was also credited with an assist in LAFC’s 4-1 over Real Salt Lake in MLS, setting up Denis Bouanga’s second goal before the winger completed his hat-trick late on.

We had three players involved in Birmingham City's 1-0 win over Swansea, as Lyndon Dykes scored in second-half stoppage time. Eiran Cashin came on for the final ten minutes for the Blues, before Malick Yalcouye was subbed on in the 89th minute for the Swans. James Beadle was an unused substitute for Birmingham.

Amario Cozier-Duberry was unable to continue his goalscoring run but played the full 90 minutes as Bolton Wanderers beat Wigan 4-1.

Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup opponents Barnsley lost 1-0 at Blackpool, with Caylan Vickers substituted off after 66 minutes while Jacob Slater made his League Two debut for Harrogate Town as they beat Shrewsbury 2-0.

Charlie Penman enjoyed his first league win as an Aldershot Town player, as they beat Hartlepool 1-0 at home in the National League.

Jess Pegram continued her run at centre half for Rangers as they beat Aberdeen, moving them a point clear at the top of the SWPL. Libby Bance came on for the final minutes of Birmingham City’s 4-2 over Newcastle United to put them top of the Championship.

Matt O’Riley’s Marseille face PSG on Monday, while Melina Loeck’s Hammarby face Djurgarden away.
