Eight of our loan players tasted victory over the weekend.

The biggest goalfest was in East Yorkshire. Libby Bance played the full 90 minutes as Birmingham City Women thumped Hull City Women 6-2 in the FA Cup fourth round.

In north-west France, Marseille cruised to victory over Angers when they beat them 5-2 on their own turf. Matt O’Riley came on for the final half an hour of that contest, having got an assist in their midweek Coupe de France win when they defeated Bayeux 9-0 to reach the last 16.

In the Championship, Carl Rushworth helped Coventry to a 2-1 win over midlands rivals Leicester City to move six points clear at the top of the table, while James Beadle’s Birmingham drew 1-1 with Swansea City. Malick Yalcouye got the assist for the Swans’ goal, teeing up Zan Vipotnik for his 11th goal of the league campaign.

Eiran Cashin’s Blackburn lost 3-0 to Ipswich Town and the defender scored an own goal after three minutes.

Bolton strengthened their position in the League One play-offs when they beat Wigan Athletic 1-0 with Amario Cozier-Duberry playing the full game.

Reading's five-match run without defeat ended as they lost 3-1 to Leyton Orient – Kamari Doyle got 75 minutes under his belt in that one.

Jess Pegram tasted victory with Rangers as they beat Hibernian 2-1 in the Scottish premier division, while Yoon Doyoung made his Dordrecht debut as they drew 1-1 with Waalwijk in the Eredivisie.

In non-league, Lorenz Ferdinand had his loan with Havant & Waterlooville extended for another month, and he marked the occasion by helping the Hawks to a 3-0 victory win over Gloucester City.

Igor Julio was an unused substitute in West Ham’s 2-1 win over Tottenham, and Facundo Buonanotte didn’t get off the bench either for Leeds United in their 1-0 win over Fulham.
