Caylan Vickers scored a wonderful strike in a five-goal thriller as Barnsley beat Burton Albion 3-2 in League One.

Having been two goals down after 35 minutes, the winger scored in the 55th minute when he found the top left corner with his right boot, before goals from Davis Keillor-Dunn and David McGoldrick secured the win, maintaining the Tykes' perfect start to the new season.

Amario Cozier-Duberry won Bolton Wanderers' Man of the Match award as the Trotters beat Plymouth Argyle. The winger assisted Mason Burstow’s goal in their 2-0 victory, their first win of the season.

Also in the third tier, Mark O’Mahony started and Kamari Doyle came on for final 15 minutes of Reading’s 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town, while in the Championship Carl Rushworth kept a clean sheet for Coventry City in a goalless draw with Hull City.

Yoon Doyoung made his debut for Excelsior, although it was a tough return to the Eredivisie for the promoted side, as they were thumped 5-0 by NEC.

The South Korean came on for the final 30 minutes, having joined us from Daejeon Hana Citizen earlier in the summer before moving to the Netherlands on loan for the season.

Evan Ferguson came on as a substitute for Roma as they beat Everton 1-0 - the Toffees’ first capacity crowd game at their new Hill Dickinson Stadium. Albion head there for the first league game later this month.

Finally, Ibrahim Osman played 78 minutes in Auxerre’s 2-0 friendly defeat to Levante, while James Beadle and Eiran Cashin were unused subs for Birmingham City in their 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town.
