Fabian Hurzeler provided an update on Mats Wieffer, Diego Gomez, James Milner, Solly March and Lewis Dunk ahead of the match.
"Mats Wieffer will be touch and go for this game. I'm not sure if he can make it. He has a small ankle issue, it's nothing serious and he will be assessed.
"Diego Gomez will be assessed. We have James Milner and Solly March back. They will definitely be an option.
"It's important that we understand that we can't risk Diego's health. We have a responsibility for the players and we have to make the right decision, not the decision that doesn't take care of his health.
"There's always an opportunity for my captain [Lewis Dunk] to come back into the starting 11. Against Newcastle we made this decision because we had the feeling that in the time when Lewis wasn't playing, he couldn't fully train. We take care of the fitness of each player individually and we try to make the right decision on what is best for the team. But now he had one more week where he could train, so that's a really positive thing. Let's see how we play tomorrow."
Their last line-up
Wolves drew 1-1 at home to Sunderland in their last outing. Nordi Mukiele put the Black Cats in front midway through the first half, but following Dan Ballard's dismissal, Rob Edwards' team pulled a goal back in the 54th minute through Santi Bueno.
Match facts
Brighton are unbeaten in their last eight league games against Wolves (W5 D3) since a 1-0 home loss in December 2021.
Wolves have lost just one of their last six away league games against Brighton (W1 D4), going down 6-0 in April 2023.
Defeat for Wolves in this match would mean they’ve lost against all other 19 Premier League clubs this season. It would be just the second time a team has lost to every side they’ve faced in a campaign, after Sheffield United in 2023-24.
Brighton have only lost one of their last 16 Premier League games against sides starting the day in the relegation zone (W5 D10) but that defeat came against current Wolves boss Rob Edwards when he was manager of Luton Town in January 2024 (0-4).
Brighton and Hove Albion saw a run of four wins in five games (D1) halted by a 3-1 defeat at Newcastle last time out. The Seagulls have only lost consecutive Premier League games once this season, in February against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
Wolves are winless in their last 19 away Premier League matches (D5 L14) – they last had a longer away winless league run between April 2003 and August 2004 (23 games).
Wolverhampton Wanderers have scored just seven goals in 17 away Premier League matches this season, an average of just 0.41 per game. Only Norwich City in 2019-20 have averaged fewer goals per away game in a single season (7 in 19 games, 0.37).

In their first five Premier League seasons from 2017-18, Brighton’s most goals scored in a single campaign was 42 (2021-22). With 49 goals already this season, they’re one goal from having netted 50 in each of the last four (72 in 2022-23, 55 in 2023-24, 66 in 2024-25).
Danny Welbeck has been involved in 14 Premier League goals this season for Brighton (13 goals, 1 assist), the most by a player aged 34+ in a season since 2021-22, when both Cristiano Ronaldo (18 goals, 3 assists) and Jamie Vardy (15 goals, 2 assists) did so. It’s also the joint most by Welbeck in a campaign, along with 2024-25 (10 goals, 4 assists).
This game could be Wolves forward Adam Armstrong’s 100th Premier League appearance – his current total of 14 wins is the second fewest of any player in their first 100 games, ahead only of former West Brom midfielder Andy Johnson (12), while his 63 defeats are the most of any player in their first 100 games.
