Brighton & Hove Albion chairman Tony Bloom has led tributes to Solly March, James Milner and Adam Webster, recognising the outstanding contribution each of them has made during the most successful period in the club’s history.
As the Premier League confirmed released and retained lists for all clubs, it confirmed all three will leave Albion at the end of June when their contracts come to an end.
Talks with Joel Veltman over his future at the club are ongoing.
Tony said, “Solly has been part of this club for more than 15 years and his contribution cannot be overstated. He has been involved in so many of our most important moments and milestones, not least his crucial goal as we secured promotion to the Premier League.

Bloom also praised Adam Webster, saying, “Adam has been a hugely important player for us over the past seven years and a key figure during a period in which the club has continued to progress and raise standards.

Reflecting on James Milner’s departure, Tony added, “James has had one of the most remarkable careers the Premier League has ever seen, and it was a privilege for us to have one of the game’s most iconic players here at Brighton & Hove Albion.

We are very grateful for the three years he gave to the club, particularly the resilience he showed in overcoming a serious injury to make an enormous contribution to our European push this season. As James retires, it is with deserved plaudits from across the world of football.”
“On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank Solly, Adam and James for their outstanding contributions.
“We look forward to welcoming each player back to the Amex in the future so supporters can show their appreciation.”
