Albion champion UNICEF UK's Best Interests of the Child
Brighton and Hove Albion Women v Leicester City Women 16NOV25 KH 0512
Brighton & Hove Albion and UNICEF have launched day one of our One Goal week of action focusing on the right that guides everything we do: the Best Interests of the Child.
Every child deserves to have their wellbeing put first. Today’s focus highlights UNICEF’s message that a child’s best interests must be the top priority in every decision that affects them.
To bring this to life, today we’re releasing exclusive video content featuring parents Adam Webster and Danny Wellbeck. In a relaxed conversation, the players open up about how becoming parents changed the way they see the world and how their children shape every decision they make.

The players reflect on supporting their children to explore opportunities, celebrating their individuality and thinking of them first when making decisions.
This right is the foundation of One Goal, our Child Rights Action Plan which commits the club to ensuring every decision places children’s wellbeing and safety front and centre.
