In collaboration with Sussex FA and Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation, we’re launching a brand-new inclusive football tournament, Play with Pride. The tournament, hosted on Brighton University’s pitches, will feature ten seven-a-side teams, including members of local recreational clubs and groups that have shown ongoing dedication and commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
Play with Pride will be part of an all-day experience hosted at The Terrace on Sunday 27 July, one week before Brighton & Hove Pride – the biggest Pride event in the UK. The day will go as follows: 11am-3.30pm: Live stream of all the Play with Pride action, face painting & airbrush artist, live entertainment, interactive games & more
3.30pm-4pm: Play with Pride awards ceremony, showcasing the amazing talent on display throughout the day
4pm-midnight: Women’s Euros 2025 final watch along. A chance to sit back, relax and take in the biggest game of the Women’s Euros with fellow fans
Tickets for all-day access to The Terrace are £10, which includes all the above and a free beer, glass of wine or soft drink. Under-16 tickets are free when bought with a full paying adult. All profits from the tournament will be donated to a selected charity and used to support football participation in the local LGBTQ+ community.
We’d love to see you come along and support the first-ever Play with Pride tournament, so buy your ticket now and get ready for a fun-filled day of football and entertainment.
