Our Fan Advisory Board is looking for three new members.
The Fan Advisory Board (FAB) is a dedicated group of supporters that represent the interests of the entire fan base and aim to enhance the matchday experience at men’s and women’s games. If you'd like to find out more before applying, visit their website here.
Who we’re looking for?
We're looking for fans who can provide fresh, exciting insights and ideas that can help shape how the club operates.
It's not only important that you are a passionate fan of the club, but also that you are prepared to actively engage in conversations and ready to take initiative to drive ideas forward.
You can view the full person specification here.
How can you apply?
If you wish to join the Fan Advisory Board, you'll need to complete our online application form by midday on Friday 8 May.
The form includes questions about how well you will support the aims and objectives of the Fan Advisory Board, and from these answers, the FAB and club will produce a shortlist based on a number of factors.
Assessment day
Once the shortlist is complete, selected entrants will be invited to an assessment day that will take place in person or online on Tuesday 26 May.
Fan base vote
Following this, there will be a vote by Albion fans based on the answers in the form, which will become visible once voting commences.
Submit your application here.
What the current FAB say?
Jo Davis - Chair
I initially joined the FAB three years ago as the WSL representative, but quite quickly became involved in a whole host of projects. We introduced working parties to focus on specific areas such as match day experience, community, WSL and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), and found myself supporting more than just the WSL! I became vice chair last year and have spent this year as chair.
Despite the increase on my time commitments, I’ve loved every minute of it. Working on improvements for both the men's and women’s side has been an honour and privilege.
Johnathan Poole - Assistant chair
I have been a Brighton & Hove Albion fan for over 50 years. Throughout good times and bad, my support for the club has never wavered and I have enjoyed some of the most memorable moments of my life at Albion matches.
I am passionate about the long-term sustainability of the club for future generations to enjoy the fan experience as much as I have. I therefore believe that effective communication between the club and its fan base is critical. When I applied to join the FAB two years ago, I wanted to play a small part in improving the overall fan experience in a voluntary capacity.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the FAB so far. Above all, working with such a diverse and engaged group of FAB members has been a rewarding and fun experience. We have challenged ourselves and the club along the way and I believe we have made a real difference.
We’d love to see supporters from all across the fan base apply, so if you’re interested please come the application form here.
