Albion hosts first in-house community Iftar
Eid Mubarak to all those who are now celebrating – we wish you a happy and peaceful Eid.
Guests enjoy the evening
The first in-house Iftar event to be hosted at the Amex Stadium took place on Tuesday.
We were excited to welcome over 90 attendees from the local community, with representatives from local mosques, BHAFC staff, the academy, the Foundation, the Fan Advisory Board, Sussex FA and Active Sussex, as well as other local community networks. Speakers included club director Ray Bloom and girls' academy player Safia Kada.
Sunset at 6.11pm marked the time to break the day’s fast and pray together.

Local dignitaries, members of the local Muslim community and Albion staff all attended the first club-run community Iftar at the Amex on Tuesday evening. For those who have been fasting during Ramadan, it was a chance to celebrate the holiest month of the Islamic calendar and enjoy a delicious meal after prayers at sunset. 📷 by James Boardman.
Eid Mubarak to all those who are now celebrating – we wish you a happy and peaceful Eid.
