Graham Potter has spoken positively about the inclusion of Jose Izquierdo in Sunday's matchday squad.
The livewire midfielder was included for the first time since April 2019 against Spurs, and the head coach explained the thinking behind the decision to include him after his recovery from a long-term knee injury.
He said, "He's been training with the group for a while and we just felt he was at the point where he could possibly play at the back end of the game.
“We're only talking ten or 15 minutes, but nevertheless if you need something then Jose's got that capability to make something happen in a high or wide position.

"We've got plenty of offensive players and good competition in those areas, but it's nice for him to be back involved.”
Potter was also keen to stress the importance of managing Izquierdo's return to action over the coming weeks.
“He's worked hard, and it's been a long road for him. Because of that time out and what he's been through I wouldn't want to jump the gun too much and rush things.
“You have to be careful with him and his progress, so we'll see how the days and weeks go, but we are hopeful for him.”
