Jason Steele, Alexis Mac Allister, Ben White and Pascal Gross make up the four-man shortlist and this is why they have been nominated.
Jason Steele vs Newport County:
The Albion keeper made four penalty saves in the FA Cup shootout at Rodney Parade at the start of the month.
Solly March put Albion ahead in normal time before the home side drew level and Steele saved four spot-kicks to ensure it was Graham Potterâs men who advanced to the fourth round.
Alexis Mac Allister vs Tottenham Hotspur:
Mac Allister capped a thoroughly impressive month with another stylish display in the win over Spurs on the final day of January.
The Argentinian provided a pinpoint pass through the legs of Pierre Hojbjerg in the first half that allowed Pascal Gross to tee up Leandro Trossard for the gameâs only goal.
Ben White vs Leeds:
White caught the eye when he returned to face his former loan club at Elland Road in Albionâs 1-0 win over Marcelo Bielsaâs side.
The defender, deployed in midfield that day, set Albion on their way to an impressive three points as he started the match-winning move which Neal Maupay finished.
Pascal Gross vs Tottenham Hotspur:
The German produced a man of the match display in the sideâs victory on home soil.
Gross laid on the perfect assist for Trossard to fire Albion into the lead and was influential throughout the game.Â
