Graham Potter has welcomed the decision by English football to impose a blanket ban on social media next weekend.
Clubs in the Premier League, EFL and Women's Super League will not post on their channels between Friday and Monday to protest about the continuing abuse of players on social media platforms.
Speaking after the ban was announced at 10pm on Saturday, Albion's head coach said, "I think it’s important that football showed a united front on what is a very important issue.
"I also believe the social media companies can do more because what has been happening is unacceptable, they should do more to stop abuse of any kind. This is a good step."
