Alexis Mac Allister’s wonderful free-kick against Leicester City has been shortlisted for the Premier League Budweiser Goal of the Month for September.
The Argentinian had suffered the frustration of seeing an unbelievable half-volley into the top corner ruled out by VAR earlier on the in the game, but there was no denying him Albion’s final goal in their 5-2 rout of the Foxes.
Danny Welbeck was brought down just short of 30-yards late on in the game, with Mac Allister stepping up and curling the ball into the top left corner from the resulting free-kick.
