Albion academy is one of the best, says Barry
It's 'unbelievable' to have so many youngsters in first-team squad says former academy player.

Gareth Barry is impressed with his former club's ability to bring through young talent.
The ex-Aston Villa and Manchester City midfielder was a product of the Albion youth system, and fondly recalls his early days with the academy.
“I was ten years old when I joined and it was called the Centre of Excellence – I would travel across to the one in Eastbourne. It was my first experience on the road to becoming a professional footballer.
“I have good memories. You look at the difference now though with kids well on their way even at that age to becoming a professional footballer.”
The 39-year-old is astounded by the number of Albion academy graduates now involved in the first team at the club.

“It's unbelievable to have that many young players all challenging for a place in the squad.
“The people who are developing the players deserve a lot of credit because a lot of work goes into making sure a player is ready for the demands of the Premier League as it's a phenomenal standard.
“It's one of the best group of academy graduates at Brighton for a long time. You look at the names that play every week - Robert Sanchez, Ben White and Aaron Connolly to name a few, with others out on loan.
“If one comes through to play in the Premier League you're doing well. When you get a group like that it shows that the club are developing and nurturing the talent well.
“It helps that the club are in the Premier League with a fantastic training ground. It can help attract players and fans love seeing academy graduates and especially local lads in the team.”
