We were delighted to introduce our 125th anniversary shirt at Tuesday’s Player Awards at the Amex, created to mark a landmark moment in Brighton & Hove Albion’s history.

On 24 June 2026, the club celebrates 125 years since its formation in 1901. To honour the occasion, we have worked closely with our technical partner Nike to develop a special, one-off commemorative kit that pays tribute to our origins and the team that began it all.

The design of the anniversary shirt has been carefully crafted to reflect the kit worn by Albion players in our earliest days, with its colours and style authentically recreating the strip from our first competitive match.

This attention to detail ensures the shirt is a commemorative piece, with a nod to the club’s beginnings and the foundations on which Brighton & Hove Albion has been built.

One game. One shirt. One moment in history.

The 125th anniversary shirt will be worn for one game only, the home game closest to the anniversary of our first competitive fixture, making it a unique moment in the club’s calendar.

It is a shirt designed not just to be worn, but to mark a moment in time, connecting the present team with the pioneers who first represented Albion 125 years ago.

Reflecting its special status, the 125th Anniversary Shirt has been produced in a strictly limited run, making it a rare collector’s item for supporters.

It celebrates the club’s extraordinary journey: from its earliest days to the unforgettable moments we’ve shared together.

A campaign shaped at home, across generations

The launch of the 125th anniversary shirt has been brought to life by local creatives, capturing Albion’s story through an iconic launch video.

It brings together voices from different eras of the club's history. Lewis Dunk, Danny Welbeck, Pascal Gross, Harry Howell and Jack Hinshelwood represent the present, Victoria Williams and Maisie Symonds represent the continued growth and impact of the women’s game within Albion’s identity.

Alongside them, figures from across the club’s history step back into frame: Glenn Murray, Bobby Zamora, Kerry Mayo and Dean Wilkins. Each a unique reminder and reference point in the chapters of Albion’s story.

You can order the 125th Anniversary Shirt as part of a special limited edition 125th Anniversary Box. The shirt is paired with other collector items from our 125th Anniversary Collection into a special limited edition 125th Anniversary Box, of which there is a limited run of only 1,901 available.

Boxes are now on sale. Due to the limited number available, they will go on sale in a priority order*. Please note, they are only available online and will not be for sale in our stores.
