Strand Larsen is booked for pulling back Matt O'Riley as the midfielder looked to get forward.

Diego Gomez is booked for dragging back Sarr on the halfway line.

Fabian Hurzeler makes two changes as Babis Kostoulas and Georginio are replaced by Jack Hinshelwood and Matt O'Riley.

Munoz goes into the book for timewasting at a throw in.

Mitoma's pass to Boscagli is intercepted by Strand Larsen and the striker is in down the right. He goes it alone and puts his laces through the ball from a very tight angle, with Verbruggen behind it the whole way.

Carlos Baleba, Harry Howell and Max De Cuyper are replaced by Danny Welbeck, Diego Gomez and Yankuba Minteh.

Georginio flicks the ball over for Kostoulas to run onto and he's through on goal. He looks to bend it round Henderson and into the bottom right corner, but the keeper gets his shin in the way. It's a good save.

Sarr rifles the ball into the top left corner.

At this point you'd probably say 0-0 is a fair score-line. This game has had a couple of moments but overall hasn't sparked into life yet.

Lewis Dunk looks to play a ball over the top for Mitoma. The Japanese winger brings it down on his chest, but Munoz gets to the loose ball first and stops the attack.

Palace win it in midfield and Sarr is in. The forward is forced slightly wide, but wastes the opportunity as he thumps his shot from 15 yards into the Palace fans behind the goal.

Richards crosses in from the left, Sarr looks as if he's going to meet it at the back of the six-yard box, but Boscagli stretches to flick it behind for a corner. That's going in if the striker gets there first.

Georginio lets fly from the right of the box but his strike hits an offside Ferdi Kadioglu. Unfortunate that.

Mitoma puts a brilliant ball into the box which Kostoulas can't quite get to, it falls for De Cuyper on the edge and he hits it with the outside of his boot, and it's only the leg of Munoz that stops it finding the back of the net!

Georginio wins the ball in superb fashion off Sarr, flying into the Palace player, taking the ball and sending him to the ground. Sarr goes down holding his face and play has to be stopped. He has treatment but is fine.

That's a vital challenge. Baleba loses possession in midfield and Sarr runs at the Albion backline, but Dunk reads the run of the Palace forward and takes the ball away from him.

From the resulting free-kick (see previous post), Gross curls in a lovely ball for Dunk to head, but the Albion captain nods wide from 12 yards.

Will Hughes goes into the book as he goes in heavily on Georginio, getting none of the ball and all of the player. Good free-kick position, 25-yards out on the right.

Albion on the whole have looked the more keen to attack, but it's been pretty even overall. Harry Howell has had some nice touches, Max De Cuyper nearly played the assist of the century for Mitoma. Good actions from the hosts.

Pascal Gross's corner is headed over by Lewis Dunk. He'd have loved another goal against Palace. It actually looks as if it came off the head of Lerma, but the referee points for a goal-kick.

Harry Howell switches play with a lovely cross-field ball for Georginio. He gets past Lerma and Munoz swipes it clear. Albion corner.

Palace swap ends, so Albion will shoot towards the North Stand in the opening 45 minutes. Here. We. Go.

Emotions are naturally high, but there's a terrific applause for Harry Howell after his name is announced ahead of kick-off. A baptism of fire. An opportunity to be a hero. Good luck, Harry.

Harry Howell comes in for his first Premier League start, in one of three changes for Albion this afternoon. The 17-year-old, as well as Babis Kostoulas and Olivier Boscagli come in for Jan Paul van Hecke, Yasin Ayari and Danny Welbeck.
