Mitoma takes Gross's pass down on his chest and is in down the left. He should shoot but instead looks to pass and Donnarumma is able to get a hand on the ball and Mitoma hits the loose ball against the post!

Kaoru Mitoma picks up a good yellow card there as Pascal Gross loses possession in midfield and City look like they've got us on the backfoot, but the Japan international slides in and takes out Foden to stop play. Yellow card.

It's all Brighton & Hove Albion at the moment. Gomez's strike in the box is blocked before Georginio puts in a really dangerous ball, but there's nobody there to poke home!

Donnarumma and De Cuyper go into the book for a tussle in the box after the goal.

That's an unbelievable opportunity for the City skipper as Ayari plays it straight to him in the Albion box, he sits Dunk down before striking at goal, but he hits the post and it's behind for a goal-kick. He will be absolutely kicking himself for missing that.

Khusanov is City's saviour as Georginio stays onside to beat the offside trap, getting on the end of Gomez's pass. He runs through and looks to pass to Mitoma for a tap in, but the City centre half dives in to block the pass!

Doku rolls the ball back to Ake on the far side of the box and he crosses in, finding the head of Haaland, but he nods it a couple of yards wide of the bottom right corner There was no real power on that either.

Doku gets away from Kadioglu on the City left, puts a cross in from the by-line and Gross just gets his foot in front of Haaland to clear behind for a corner. The striker was ready to lash that in from ten yards.

Georginio plays Kadioglu down the right and winger is in a foot race with Ake. He gets past him and looks to beat Donnarumma with a drive from the right of the box, but it's straight at the keeper who gathers at the second attempt! Brilliant early chances for Albion.

Pascal Gross gets on the end of Diego Gomez's cross in the middle of the box and heads down, with Donnarumma getting down well to save! Good piece of play.
