Tommy Watson replaces Brajan Gruda. The away support welcome him onto the pitch with a standing ovation, having scored the winner in their play-off final in the summer.
86'
Yellow Card
Le Fee slides into Ayari and doesn't get anywhere near the ball. Yellow card.
82'
AYARI DENIED BY ROEFS
That's better from Yasin as he has a bit of space on the edge of the box to work before he thumps it at goal, which Roefs takes directly to the chest and it's away from danger! The crowd love that. Ten minutes to play.
79'
Yellow Card
Dan Ballard goes into the book for landing his studs on the leg of Babis Kostoulas. If the referee had given a red card there, VAR probably wouldn't have overturned the decision. It's not a nice tackle at all.
77'
AYARI GETS UNDER IT
Another one from Yasin Ayari as he's found by Babis Kostoulas but sends his shot from ten yards over the crossbar! Great chance.
71'
Substitution
Double change for Albion as James Milner and Babis Kostoulas replace Jack Hinshelwood and Yankuba Minteh.
66'
VERBRUGGEN WITH ANOTHER SAVE
Le Fee's ball to the edge of the box is exquisite, finding the run of Mundle and he fires it towards goal, but Verbruggen dives down to his right to save.
64'
Substitution
Kaoru Mitoma comes on for Maxim De Cuyper.
60'
GRUDA VOLLEYS WIDE
The ball is cleared by Sunderland to the edge of their own box and Gruda catches it well on the volley, but sends it wide to the left of goal. We've got the bit between our teeth.
58'
HANDBALL SHOUT FOR ALBION
Minteh crosses in from the right of the Sunderland box and it strikes the wrist of Xhaka inside the box, but it's never a penalty, despite the home fans' initial cry for a handball. His hand is down by the side of the Swiss midfielder.
55'
AYARI GOES A BIT CLOSER THIS TIME
Having sent his last shot into orbit, the midfielder is actually considerably closer this time as he's found by Brajan Gruda and let's loose with a drive from inside the D, but it's a yard over the crossbar.
49'
AYARI SKIES IT
Boscagli chips the ball out to the wing for Veltman. The Dutchman crosses in on the volley finding Ayari in the middle, but the Sweden international gets right underneath his first time effort and puts it very, very far over the crossbar.
47'
VERBRUGGEN WITH A TERRIFIC SAVE
That's the closest either team has come to scoring and it's only the incredible reactions of Bart Verbruggen that keeps us level. Alderete gets great contact on a header from eight yards and it looks as if it's flying in, but the keeper gets an outstretched palm on it, tipping it onto the crossbar and behind for a corner!
46'
Second Half begins
One change for Albion at the break as Joel Veltman replaces Mats Wieffer.
Albion get the second half underway.
45'+3'
Half-Time
Nothing to separate the teams after 45 minutes.
45'
THREE MINUTES ADDED TIME
43'
NEAR CALAMITY FOR ALBION
Jack Hinshelwood's back pass is pounced on by Le Fee in the Albion box, but Verbruggen rushes off his line to block the shot from close range.
The keeper then saves from Brobbey's thumped strike from the right of the box. If either team is going to grab a late opener in this half, Sunderland look the more likely.
41'
LOVELY BALL FROM MINTEH
The Gambian winger runs at the full back and then crosses in low into the six-yard box, but De Cuyper is a yard away from tapping it in. Lovely wing play from Yankuba.
33'
Yellow Card
Diego Coppola slides in on Le Fee and it looks as if he wins the ball. Referee Darren England doesn't think so though and gives a free-kick to Sunderland, and shows Diego the yellow card. Free-kick just outside the box on the left.
32'
BALLARD'S HEADER EASY FOR BART
That's another easy save for the keeper as Ballard rises highest to a ball in the box, and his header lands perfectly in Bart's arms.
24'
WIEFFER NEEDS TREATMENT
The Dutchman goes up for a header with Simon Adingra, but he's caught by the flailing arm of the Sunderland winger. After a check for concussion, he's good to continue.
21'
BROBBEY HEADS WIDE
A Sunderland corner finds the head of striker Brian Brobbey in the middle of the box, but he glances it wide. He feels he should have done better with it.
18'
Yellow Card
Brajan Gruda goes into the book as he stops a Sunderland counter-attack by grabbing at the shirt of Xhaka.
16'
GRUDA'S FREE-KICK EASY FOR ROEFS
De Cuyper is brought down 25 yards from the Sunderland goal for an Albion free-kick. Gruda takes, it's in a really good position, he keeps it on the ground as it goes under the Black Cats' wall, but it's an easy one for Roefs to gather.
14'
EASY FOR VERBRUGGEN
Alderete capitalises on Kadioglu's mistimed header on the edge of the box as he gets a shot away, but it's straight down the throat of Verbruggen.
10'
SUNDERLAND CORNER...
Is nodded away by Olivier Boscagli. Never looked like causing any real danger as it's crossed in from in front of the north west corner.
3'
WIEFFER'S HEADER SAVED
Gruda's corner finds the head of Wieffer in the box and the Dutchman guides it towards goal, but Roefs palms it away!

The Albion team.
REGIS LE BRIS ON ALBION
âThey are a strong side with many individual and collective threats.
âImpressive in possession and a strong pressing team as well. Really intense with pace and power so it is an exciting challenge."
HURZELER ON SUNDERLAND
"They've definitely made their squad very strong. They have a lot of maturity on the pitch. They understand how to win Premier League games.
"They have a strong togetherness and they fight together, they sprint together, they look very compact, high pressure, very man orientated, low pressure, very compact, itâs difficult to score goals against them.
"And then on top of that, they're good at set-pieces, long throw-ins, free-kicks from everywhere and good in transition. Itâs a big challenge for us."
Our Dutch speaking contingent.
Fabian Hurzeler arrives at the Amex.
