Horsham celebrate after lifting the Senior Cup for the first time in 48 years.

Former Albion striker Shamir Fenelon was among the scorers as Horsham ended their 48-year wait to lift the Sussex Transport Senior Cup at the Amex.

Fenelon, who made three appearances for the club at the start of his career, got the second goal as Horsham lifted the trophy for the first time since 1976 with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Isthmian Premier rivals Hastings United.

The Hornets stung again four minutes before half-time with a well worked second goal. Right-back Lee Harding's cross was headed back into the danger area by Lucas Rodrigues and Fenelon nodded it over the line.

Horsham continued to look the better team in the second half and a well-worked goal finished into the far corner by Daniel Ajakaiye in the 68th minute sealed victory in front of a crowd of 4869.
