Roberto De Zerbi says Albion owe it to their fans to finish the season in 'a strong way.'
Albion went down 3-0 to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday to stretch our winless run in the Premier League to six matches and leave us 12th in the table with four games to play.
But despite the result the Albion fans applauded the players and De Zerbi at the final whistle.
“We have to find the energy and the mentality to finish a very tough season strongly and for our fans we have to give more and play better," he said. "We lost the game in a bad way and I'm sorry for our fans, they don't deserve this.

“It is part of our job to work seriously for our club and our fans. It’s not easy. We dreamt of reaching Europe but if you’re not able you still have to fight and play with different energy. I want to finish the last four games in a strong way for our fans. We are spending a tough moment. We want to play better because our best in this moment is not enough.
“I’m suffering a lot but I have worked in football for 30 years and I know these moments can happen. My players are suffering like me. We have to be honest with ourselves and analyse the performances – today’s was not enough."
The Italian had handed full Premier League debuts to Mark O’Mahony and Odel Offiah, which took the number of Academy graduates who have started league games this season to ten. He was pleased with their contribution. "They did well and gave us new energy," he added.
