A superb tournament from Jayden Groden an Marc Marley saw Albion make it to the final of this year’s ePremier League.
After topping the group to be seeded straight into the quarter-finals, the pair beat Wolves 3-2 over two fiercely contested legs to secure a semi-final spot. The semi-finals saw Albion reach new heights with Marc winning 4-1 and Jayden, 3-2, meaning we cruised to a 7-3 aggregate win over Liverpool. An incredible performance from both teammates, with Manchester City standing between them and the title.
City came into the final full of confidence off the back of a 6-0 win over Luton and 7-0 victory over Spurs. That didn’t faze Marc and Jayden however, with both players battling hard against their rivals and taking both games to the wire. An extra-time goal from Manchester City unfortunately saw them take the title, despite a flurry of chances for Albion late in the game.
It was an unlucky ending to an amazing journey for the pair in this year’s ePL. The journey doesn’t end there though as their efforts will mean that Albion qualify for this year's eChampions League.
