We will be doing this with our partners TreeApp with the support of our three Ecuadorian international players Moises Caicedo, Jeremy Sarmiento and Pervis Estupinan.

MyAlbion+ members can now swap their membership goodie pack for next season for five trees to be planted in our Albion Forest in Ecuador instead.

We will be doing this with our partners TreeApp with the support of our three Ecuadorian international players Moises Caicedo, Jeremy Sarmiento and Pervis Estupinan.

A primary aim there is to restore habitats for many endangered local bird species (such as the Black-breasted Puffleg and numerous other hummingbird species), as well as empowering local communities to protect nature and generating livelihoods and training for locals.

Jeremy was delighted with the news of this project, “The Albion Forest is a great way for supporters to do something special for the environment.

“This project is fantastic regardless of where it’s being done, but to have it in Ecuador - mine, Moises’s and Pervis’s home country - where there has been a lot of deforestation is really important for helping all the wildlife that has suffered, as well as helping the fight against climate change.

“For our supporters it couldn’t be easier. While you don’t receive anything physical as part of your membership by opting to do this, you will be a part of something special in a place that’s incredibly close to my heart. Thanks to everyone who chooses to do this.”
