Hope Powell believes her side can bounce back from last week's 'bizarre' defeat to Manchester City when they travel to Leicester in the WSL on Sunday.
After a goalless first half, Albion conceded four goals in seven minutes and ended up losing 6-0 and have now lost all five games since beating the Foxes 1-0 at the Amex in November.
Despite their poor run, Powell says confidence among the squad is high as they prepare to travel to the King Power Stadium for the first time.
“We’ve handled what happened last Sunday fine because we know the score didn’t reflect the game,” she said. “We had 15 minutes of madness, yet in the first half against a very good side we played some of our best football of the season. It was utterly bizarre what happened at the start of the second half.

“The scoreline suggests otherwise, but there were lots of positives. Of course, we have addressed what happened for those 15 minutes to ensure it doesn’t happen again, like trying to be more calm and focused when we concede a goal.
“But there were also lots of things to build on. The girls are positive and focussed on what will be a tough game against Leicester. This result won’t define our season or what we are trying to achieve.”
The Foxes are bottom again after Birmingham’s shock win over Arsenal on Sunday and their 1-0 loss at Reading.
“It’s a big game,” added Powell. “They will have targeted this game to get points. They are bottom and so there is some pressure on them but we put pressure on ourselves internally, we want to end the run we’re on and win the game.”
