Lydia Williams

Lydia Williams signed for Albion on an 18-month contract from PSG in January 2023.

Lydia has played for eight teams across three continents with spells in England, Sweden, Australia, France and America on her CV. 

 

At club level she has won four A-League titles with Melbourne City and Canberra United and finished second in the WSL with Arsenal in the 2021/22 season. She was a runner-up in the French League with PSG prior to linking up with Albion. 

 

At international level, Williams has been a key figure for Australia having competed in two World Cups and three Asian Cups. She won her 100th cap in June 2022 and is part of Australia's squad for the 2023 World Cup.

 

She played nine games for Albion in all competitions in her debut campaign for the club.
