The goalkeeper was awarded the Belgian Golden Boot in January 2023, which is given to the best female player and became the first goalkeeper to scoop the award.

Nicky came through the ranks at Racing Strijpen and SK Munkzwalm, before joining KAA Gent in 2012.

She spent five years there before moving to FC Twente in the Netherlands and then Sporting de Huelva in Spain.

The keeper returned to Gent in 2020, then joined OH Leuven in July last year. She signed for Chelsea in July on a three-year deal.

Evrard has made 63 appearances for Belgium, helping her country reach the quarter-finals of the Euros in 2022.
